40,000 Meters of Sewing Thread, Shipping Containers
As part of my exhibition Navigation, I built an interactive installation that directed the movements of visitors through the gallery space. In October, I was residing at NDSM an old shipping yard turned art city in Amsterdam. My camper was parked in a sailboat construction yard. Sails was both a response to the space and a conceptual thread between the two other pieces. It caused the visitor to physically navigate their environment almost like they would on a boat.
